Mini Committee Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) set out the terms which you are agreeing to when you place an online booking with Mini Committee (“us”, “we”, “our”) and apply to the services provided by us to the customer (“you”, “Customer”).

Any capitalised terms used are defined terms with the relevant definitions set out in the “Definitions” section at the end of these Terms.

Services

We offer professional children’s styling services as detailed on our website, which may include wardrobe consultation, outfit coordination, personal shopping recommendations, and style guidance tailored specifically for your child.

Services may be delivered through the following methods:

●      online consultations conducted via video conferencing or other digital communication platforms; or

●      in person consultations at locations as agreed between us and you.

The specific scope of the Services is as described on the services page of our website at the time of Booking and may vary depending on the particular service package you select.

For any online consultations, you must ensure you have a stable internet connection suitable for video conferencing and access to the appropriate video conferencing software or platform specified by us. You should also ensure you are in a suitable environment with adequate lighting and space.

We shall provide all Services outputs and recommendations in digital format following completion of the Appointment, delivered via email within 5 working days unless otherwise agreed or specified on the services page of our Website.

Pre-Consultation

All Services are subject to completion of the mandatory Pre-Consultation Form by you prior to the scheduled Appointment.

The Pre-Consultation Form must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled Appointment date to allow sufficient preparation time.

Where you fail to complete the Pre-Consultation Form within the required timeframe, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel your Appointment.

The information provided by you in the Pre-Consultation Form must be accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We may require additional information or clarification regarding the Pre-Consulation Form prior to your Appointment.

Revisions

Each Booking includes one round of Revisions at no additional cost, subject to a revision requests being received within 14 days of the initial delivery of the Services outputs and recommendations.

Any revision requests received after the 14 day period specified above shall be treated as Extra Revisions and charged accordingly.

Any additional revision requests beyond the complimentary round shall constitute Extra Revisions and will incur additional Fees. Fees for Extra Revisions must be paid in full before we commence any further work.

We reserve the right to decline additional revision requests that fall outside of the original scope of the Services specified at the time of Booking.

Bookings

You must complete the online booking process through the Website to secure an Appointment for Services.

You shall select your required Services from those displayed on the services page of our Website, which sets out the full description and Fees for each available service.

A booking is only considered confirmed once both full payment has been successfully processed and the Pre-Consultation Form has been completed.

Fees and Payment

Fees for all Services are as set out on the services page of the Website at the time of Booking and are payable in full on Booking.

All fees are quoted and payable in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Payment of all applicable Fees must be completed in full upon Booking and before the scheduled Appointment via our designated payment system.

All payments are currently processed through Stripe and integrated into the Website. No alternative payment methods are currently accepted. Upon successful payment you will receive automated confirmation of your Booking.

If payment processing fails or is declined, the Booking will not be confirmed and no Appointment will be scheduled until successful payment is complete.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Each customer shall be entitled to reschedule their Appointment up to 2 times without incurring additional charges, subject to the conditions set out in this section.

Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the originally scheduled Appointment date.

Rescheduling requests submitted with less than 48 hours notice shall only be permitted in the following exceptional circumstances at our discretion:

●      Illness of the child who is the subject of the Services;

●      Family emergency beyond the Customer’s reasonable control;

●      Severe weather conditions that prevent safe travel to the Appointment location (for in person Services only).

All rescheduling requests must be submitted by email to hello@minicommittee.com.  

Subject to the conditions in this section being met, we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.

We reserve the right to cancel the Services at any time without liability, subject to providing you with a full refund of the Fees.

If you fail to attend an appointment or rescheduled Appointment without providing notice in accordance with this section, you will not be offered an alternative date and the Booking will be deemed as completed without refund.

All Bookings are non-refundable unless you are exercising your statutory right to cancel during the Cooling-Off Period. In the event we have commenced performance of the Services, including review of the Pre-Consultation Form during the Cooling-Off Period, you shall pay us an amount proportionate to what has been performed until the cancellation request was received. Your right to cancel is lost if the Services have been performed before the end of the Cooling-Off Period.

Intellectual Property

All Intellectual Property Rights in and to the Services, including but not limited to the styling recommendations, advice, suggestions, reports, materials, and any other outputs created or provided by us shall remain the exclusive property of us, or the third party licensor.

You acknowledge that all concepts, ideas, methodologies, processes, and creative elements developed or utilised by us in delivering the Services constitute proprietary Intellectual Property Rights of us and that no transfer of ownership shall take place.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services outputs and recommendations solely for the personal styling of the child for whom the Services were commissioned.

You shall not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Services outputs or recommendations without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to use any general methodologies, concepts, or know-how developed during the provision of Services for future business purposes, provided that no confidential information specific to you or your child is disclosed without your consent.

Affiliate Links

We may use Affiliate Links in Services outputs, recommendations, styling guides, and other materials provided to you as part of the Services.

The inclusion of Affiliate Links does not affect the pricing of any products or services recommended to Customers, who will pay the standard retail price offered by the relevant third party.

We are under no obligation to disclose the specific commission rates or compensation arrangements, but confirm that all Affiliate Links will be used in accordance with applicable laws.

You are not obligated to purchase any products or services through Affiliate Links and may source recommended items from any retailer or your choosing.

We make no warranties or representations regarding the products or services purchased through Affiliate Links and any such purchases are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant third party.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising under or in connection with these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or the your acts or omissions.

You acknowledge that styling recommendations are subjective in nature and based on professional opinion, and that we cannot guarantee that you or your child will be satisfied with all recommendations provided.

Data Protection

The collection, use, storage, and processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, which is available on our Website.

You warrant that any personal data provided related to children is provided with appropriate parental or guardian consent and authority. 

Changes to the Services

We reserve the right to modify or update the Services we offer, provided that any changes shall not affect the Services already booked by you prior to such modifications.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

Definitions

In these Terms, the following definitions shall apply:

Affiliate Links means hyperlinks included in the Services output that directs Customers to third-party retailers where we may receive commission payments, but which do not affect the pricing of the products linked for Customers.

Appointment means a scheduled consultation session between us and you, whether conducted online or in person, for the provision of Services.

Booking means the Customer’s reservation of Services through the Website’s online booking system, including completion of payment and pre-consultation requirements.

Cooling-Off Period means the 14 day period commencing from the date of Booking during which Customers may cancel Services in accordance with consumer protection legislation.

Customer means the parent or guardian acting as a consumer who books the Services for their child through the Website. Also referred to as you.

Fees means the charges for Services as set out on the services page of our Website, including any additional charges for Extra Revisions.

Extra Revisions means any revisions to Service outputs requested by the Customer beyond the one complimentary round of Revisions included with each Service.

Intellectual Property Rights means all intellectual property rights worldwide including copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents, and any other proprietary rights in Service outputs and materials.

Pre-Consultation Form means the mandatory questionnaire that must be completed by the Customer prior to any Appointment to enable appropriate Services delivery.

Privacy Notice means our privacy notice governing the collection, use and processing of personal data, available on the Website.

Revisions means modifications or amendments to Services outputs provided by us following Customer feedback.

Services means the professional styling consultations and recommendations for children offered by us and as detailed on the services page of our Website, including any post consultation related outputs.

Stripe means the third-party payment processing system used by us to process Customer payments.

Terms means these terms and conditions governing the provision of the Services by us to you.

Website means our website through which Services are marketed, booked and paid for by Customers.
